ADCC trials medalist and British and European NoGi champ Ashley Bendle is coming back to Scotland in November to teach a nogi 50/50 and kneebar entries seminar.
A Polaris vet, Enyo & GrappleKings title holder, and with multiple black belt adult IBJJF open golds, Ashley has been killing the competition scene under a wide variety of rulesets and has cemented herself as one of the top international black belt jiu jitsu athletes.
Training out of Chris Rees Academy in Swansea and flying the Draig flag, Ashley will teach a three hour NoGi seminar at our academy in Rutherglen on Friday the 10th of November, 18:30-21:30, with two hours of taught technique followed by an hour of rolling and q&a.
The seminar is open to all, £30 for Ronin Grappling members and affiliates and £35 for visitors.
Ashley will also guest teach our gi women*+ class on Thursday 9th of November at 18:30 and will cover worm guard. For women & non binary members this class is included in your membership, for women & nb visitors you can attend this with a one off payment of £15. The infrared sauna at the gym will be switched on and ready to use by 20:30 and will be open to seminar participants. If planning on using the sauna please bring a bathing suit, towel, flip flops and a change of clothes and make sure to shower before using the sauna.
As a contact sport we also ask both members and visitors please not come in if ill – we have students who are immunocompromised, or who are carers, and so we are taking care to minimise risks where reasonable. If unwell please stay home and we’ll refund the seminar.
