Autumn brings all the milestones for the team. Today marks 4 years as a full time academy in our Rutherglen gym, but even more importantly coming up in October is the 5 years anniversary of us starting as a team, renting out mat space from two strength gyms for the first year while building the team and looking for a permanent location. Thank you so much to everyone who bought a Daddy is a state of mind @itsffionnotfiona t-shirt in support of @submitthestigma, we raised just over £1700 ($2120)! Over 90 t-shirts are en route to their generous owners (hopefully will arrive soon, royal & international mail pending!) and we still have a handful of t-shirts left (a couple Smalls and one 3XL), we'll make a further donation when these sell as well but thought this was a good time to send the big chunk through. Thanks to everyone who got behind this wild idea, especially super women @itsffionnotfiona @rosa_bjj @shawna.rodgers and @violetxbennett ❤️ A little something for the weekend! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ One last tweak following the updated schedule from a few weeks ago with Wednesdays 7am and Thursdays 7am classes swapping over, Wednesday morning is now nogi 🩳 and Thursday morning is now gi 🥋! Once again huge thanks to @rosa_bjj and @itsffionnotfiona for coming and sharing their mad skills in our submission focused camp this past weekend. Also huge thanks to Violet @xanthe.photos for coming to capture the entire camp, can't wait to see her vision, we'll email a link out when her content is ready. Lastly the biggest thanks as always to everyone who came along for the ride, from close by and far away as you make these camps and seminars possible, while helping support amazing athletes and driving the sport forward! ❤️ As part of our camp with Ffion and Rosa we are releasing a limited edition run Daddy is a state of mind Ffion t-shirts in order to raise funds for @submitthestigma a charity close to all our hearts. Rutherglen Shopping Centre, off Greenhill Road. 5 minutes walk, 50p for up to 2hrs parking or £1 up to 3hrs Monday to Saturday. Free on Sundays.
